“The Hearing God sessions were very enlightening. There are some complex ideas but it was lovely to be able to discuss these ideas and unpack the concepts in a safe environment. Having completed these sessions it has enabled me to review how I try to make contact with God and it has given me ideas to try. It might sound quite high brow, but it is very accessible and the

discussion with friends is invaluable.”

The Blessings Course

Local Houses of Prayer

are a simple way of encouraging Christians to take more spiritual responsibility for the areas where they live or possibly where they work. If the Church is going to be effective in its witness it needs its foot soldiers to represent Christ where they live, whether in their

parish or beyond it.

Alongside Prayer and Praise, LHOPs put a renewed emphasis on blessing as part of the process of seeing God’s kingdom come.

The Blessings Course helps lay key foundations for people thinking of starting a Local House of Prayer as well as supporting those who are already up and running.

who can answer our big questions.
Each session also addresses a popular question,

such as:

The Scandal of the

Kingdom

A Ten Week interactive course based on Dallas Willard’s book.

Summer Term

Tuesdays from 6th May 2025

ending Tuesday 15th July 2025

8.00-9.30pm via ZOOM

What does it mean to live in the kingdom of God in our day-to-day lives? The Scandal of the Kingdom is a major new work from the author Dallas Willard. It offers fresh insight into the moving and mysterious parables Jesus told—and a call to live with new purpose and intentionality in the here and now.

For all of us who wonder how to love passionately, live abundantly, and grow in faith, the secrets that Jesus hid in plain sight in these simple stories have the power to usher us into a new, dynamic way of being human.
